How student entries are judged

The entries will be closely examined by representatives from RJDA, BRAKE and their respective UNIVERSITIES.

A shortlist of 5 outstanding submissions will be drawn up and the winner chosen from this list.

The judging will take place over May 2010 with the overall winner being announced online, sent to course tutors and sent in writing to entrants in early June.

Eligibility

Submissions are invited from all students who are currently studying Graphic Design at one of the regions 3 main Universities - Derby, Nottingham Trent & Loughborough.

Entry details

Please follow the format of the example here. This is how RJDA expect entries to be presented. The deadline for submitting work is 6pm on the 30th April 2010.

There is no entry fee to submit work.

All submissions must be uploaded onto the Creative Sauce web site If you upload any interactive work you should supply a full URL and details of any plug-ins needed to view the work. All entries should be e mailed to submit@mycreativesauce.co.uk in the correct presentation style - CLICK HERE TO VIEW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES.

Submissions must be in the English language. You must submit work as an individual. It may be that the organisation to whose brief you respond wishes to discuss with RJDA the further development and use of submitted work. The original author may or may not be credited in such circumstances and by entering this competition you agree to let us do that.

Deliverables

Consider application for two or three of the following however RJDA welcome any blue sky thinking that may arise:

  • Mobile unit for city centre promotions
  • Personalised Direct Mail campaign
  • A3 posters/DL flyers
  • Web microsite
  • Cinema advertising
  • Bus advertising/Bus shelters

Key dates

  • Submission deadline: 6pm, April 30th 2010.
  • Initial round of examination and assessment: May 2010.
  • Commendations published: June 2010.
  • Placement and professional development opportunities will be offered at this time.
